Description
The Rove Concepts Saarinen Tulip Table series were inspired by mid-century Finnish architect and designer Eero Saarinen. He was driven to streamline tables and chairs to maximize space by eliminating unnecessary parts like support legs. Instead, Saarinen utilized modern technology to create a stable single base that could support a heavy table top without wobbling. These reproductions stay true to this idea and design.
In addition to their practicality, the Rove series features genuine cararra marble sourced exclusively from Cararra quarries in Italy. This marble is highly valuable due to its durability and beauty. The commitment to using naturally sourced marble guarantees that each table is unique. The tables also take advantage of materials like aluminum and modern sealants. The table tops have a protective coating applied and the bases undergo a 5-step powder coating on the glossy aluminum base to prevent damage.
These tables can fit into the interior of any home, though they are most striking when combined with the Rove Concepts Tulip Chairs. They are now even more adaptable, as they come in different sizes and available in Black Granite, Black Cararra marble, and White Cararra marble. Eero Saarinen born 1910 was a Finnish American architect and industrial designer famous for his ability to master varying style. For example, he was accomplished in both simple, sweeping, arching structural curves and seemingly the opposite side of the spectrum, machine-like rationalism. He designed many important pieces of furniture including one of the most famous, the “Womb” chair and ottoman (1948). The “Tulip” or “Pedestal” group (1956), features side and arm chairs, dining, coffee and side tables, as well as a stool. Eero’s designs were extensive, all were highly successful except for the “Grasshopper” lounge chair, which, although in production through 1965, was not a big hit.

I purchased this table and I love it! It was packaged perfect. The table itself is very stable and excellent reproduction. It matches perfect with the tulip chairs. Really glad I went with this versus an older set. The table I received was like the original manufactuer's photo where it is thinner towards the bottom.
I got the 39 inch white marble table for $1150. I got free shipping cuz I ordered enough chairs to go with the table. I saw the exact same table for $2500 at another place! I cant believe how much some places are charging for this.
Took me 5-10 minutes to unpack and another 5-10 minutes to assemble. That easy, and the result is a beautiful marble table in my dining area.

What a beautiful table, the shipment came without damage. The natural marble is gorgeous and the table is as described. AAA+
The marble is much nicer in person than in the pictures. I am very impressed with the construction quality. Only downside was it took me a good 20 minutes to uncrate the table top from the original packaging, although that being said everything came in one piece!
