Alyx's Picks

The Flag Halyard Chair is a crowd favorite these days, but its easy to see why its captured the attention of so many. For Alyx, the Flag Chair offers flexibility and comfort that meets her grandma-cosy lifestyle (it's not unusual for Alyx to be found reading or embroidering for hours into the night). "I also like how despite the heavy metal and industrial rope line, the chair remains light and airy."

A rug is a must with her best friend, Otto - a giant German Shepard cross. The Ezra Rug is, therefore, the perfect piece that meets needs and style in one: it's a rug that comes in two sizes and has great detail without looking too busy. She notes that the texture in more muted neutral tones reminds her of Mexican wedding blankets with intricate detail and brimming with character!

Of course, a light is necessary and the Georgia Pendant was an immediate attention-grabber for Alyx. "I like that it is still quite simple but has that little added detail of the copper inside and the hammered effect on the pendant. Even the cord has nice detail to it which is really nice compared to just a basic black or white cord."
