Isamu Noguchi is one of the most critically acclaimed sculptors of the 20th century. Not just limited to one area, he also worked on gardens, furniture, ceramics and lighting. In the mid century, Noguchi became enraptured with the modernism. However, he did not align himself to one style over another. His varied, internationally influenced approach and extremely innovative work have led to his widely held acclaim. He is featured at his namesake Noguchi Museum in New York.
