Description
There is an inherent practicality in the clean, flowing lines of the Rove Concepts Eero Saarinen Tulip Oval Table series. Not only beautiful, the tables feature single stem bases, which allow for greater ease of movement and increased legroom. This is especially true in combination with the Eero Saarinen Tulip Chairs. The dismissal of traditional legs create a remarkably spacious experience.
In addition to their practicality, these pieces feature genuine cararra marble exclusive to the Cararra quarries in Italy. This marble is highly valuable due to its durability and beauty. In fact, Michelangelo sculpted his masterpiece, David, from it. Rove Concepts' commitment to using naturally sourced marble guarantees that each Eero Saarinen Tulip Oval Table is unique. The tables also take advantage of modern materials. The table tops have a sealant applied and the bases undergo a 5-step powder coating on the aluminum base to prevent damage.
The Tulip Oval Table series are practically indistinguishable from the original. They have the same finishing, dimensions and smoothed bevelled edges. Several sizes are offered and new materials are now being offered alongside White Cararra marble, such as Black Cararra marble and Black Granite. By staying true to the original design and quality, Rove Concepts maintains its standard of affordable luxury.

Eero Saarinen born 1910 was a Finnish American architect and industrial designer famous for his ability to master varying style. For example, he was accomplished in both simple, sweeping, arching structural curves and seemingly the opposite side of the spectrum, machine-like rationalism. He designed many important pieces of furniture including one of the most famous, the “Womb” chair and ottoman (1948). The “Tulip” or “Pedestal” group (1956), features side and arm chairs, dining, coffee and side tables, as well as a stool. Eero’s designs were extensive, all were highly successful except for the “Grasshopper” lounge chair, which, although in production through 1965, was not a big hit.

Quality is fantastic but the first one I got was broken by the shippers. You guys replaced it quickly though and removed the broken one for no extra price. Good work, thanks for the help. - Word of advise for those getting this, check it out before the shippers leave but other than that good stuff.

What a beautiful table, was finally able to find a perfect reproduction of this classic tulip table in oval. These guys are the real deal, the table came in a heavy wood crate and opening it up was like strucking gold. The marble is gorgeous and the finish on the base is top notch as well. Make sure you have a few strong men handy this table requires it! because it weighs a ton!. Assembly only took about 5 minutes. I am really excited to receive my custom tulip chairs now!
This oval design takes the tulip table to a new level. The surface is just so nice and large there is a wow factor when someone steps into the dining area. Excellent remake, will recommend to others.
