I ordered two Womb chairs in November, just before Thanksgiving. The shipping company had difficulty understanding that we were out of town for the holiday. We informed them as clearly as we could. We still got a call stating that they would be delivering in 45 minutes and to be ready. Even if we had supersonic transport, we could not have been ready for them. This is not a reflection on Rove Concepts but on the local shipping company which may have been overwhelmed with Christmas deliveries.
wishbone chair
I ordered 8 wishbone chairs. The order was placed on Nov 13 and the chairs were delivered via freight by NSD on Dec 4 They came on two wooden pallets, four boxed chairs per pallet wrapped in thick layers of plastic. The truckers had a forklift right in the truck and placed the pallets right into my garage. Everything looked great until i opened the last chair on the last pallet long after the shipping truck left. The rear right leg was snapped and crushed in four sections. I immediately went on the Rove site and filed a claim and uploaded five photos, including one of the entire shipment before i started unpacking. That was Friday the 4th by Monday the 7th i had an email from the claims manager, James letting me know that a replacement chair was in the system. The chair was shipped fedex on Dec 11 and im sitting on it on Dec 12 typing this review. Absolutely amazing customer service. i dont know of any company shipping anything out next day to fix an issue. oh, and the chairs are absolutely beautiful and well made as well. I will definitely be ordering more stuff from these guys soon and telling all my friends about it.
Fast service, item not as expected
I ordered the Saarinen Executive Chair in heather gray. Posted lead times were 7-21 days, but it arrived in 5 days. The downside: for a small chair, $150 in shipping seems rather exorbitant. That said, the chair is the perfect scale for my small condo. It's not the kind of chair you're going to lounge in, but great for the occasional visitor. It seems to be relatively well made- though I noticed some "slipping" of the fabric. The fabric itself appears to be of good quality and is a nice low nap boucle, not the big frizzy boucle you might think of from 1980's sweaters. The downside: it's not heather gray as per the name. More of a smokey lilac actually. I like the color; just wish it was a true gray, so it would work with my other furnishings. It either needs to go back, or I need a new rug.

Rove Concepts - great discovery!
I only recently found Rove Concepts - and what a great discovery it is. Besides affordable mid-century replicas, which look higher quality than anywhere else I've seen (at comparable prices), they have a well-designed line of their own. I got a white bulb lamp. It is cute as a button - and is really well made. With pieces like this, it's the details that differentiate between mediocrity and quality. This lamp was definitely on the quality side. A couple of details that stood out - really nice white cloth-covered power cord, and felt at the base of the lamp, that made it a pleasure to put this lamp on a granite counter. Well done, Rove Concepts, I'll be back!

We recently purchased four chairs and were excited to discover that rather than waiting 2 weeks they were already in stock in the warehouse. We were able to pick up our chairs just two days after ordering them and the warehouse hours were really convenient. Unfortunately once we arrived home we discovered a small spot of damage on one of the chair legs. Next time we will be sure to check over everything prior to leaving the warehouse. Other than that we are more than satisfied and look forward to shopping at Rove Concepts again.

Well worth it
Received our womb chair yesterday. I purchased this sight unseen and never sat in a womb chair. So I was definitely rolling the dice on this purchase. Chair arrived in perfect condition. It is well made and a very comfortable unique sitting experience. It's an eye turner as well.
The only thing that kept this review from 5 stars in the local delivery agent in my area took too long for the delivery.. All in all well worth it!
Contemporary furniture, great service
I hummed and hawed over buying a Saarinen inspired table and chairs. I wasn't sure the chairs would be comfortable. (For me, comfort comes first.) The people at Rove Concepts were very helpful and patient with me. I liked being able to chat online with local people that are actually sitting in the showroom. I liked being able to roam the showroom and try almost every chair. Once I made up my mind, the people at Rove made ordering a breeze. Moreover, I was notified of an upcoming sale and was offered the sale price. Score! The table and chairs arrived on time and in perfect condition. I will definitely shop at Rove again and will recommend it.

Looking Forward to Delivery
Overall the shopping experience was smooth and straightforward. The broad range of color and finish options were welcome however not all colors were represented on the actual product on the screen. This is fine, of course, for it's not necessarily feasible to actually show all color options in action however there should be something noting what color option is being displayed. It was just a bit confusing at times. Love the high resolution images but they could be kludgy on a slow connection. Waiting on my first order and it looks like CEVA Logistics - the shipping company - mis-entered the order so my first delivery has been delayed because of their error. While this is not a Rove Concepts issue it affects the overall experience as we have zero furniture in our home so every day delayed is a day we're sitting on the floor. :/ Looking forward to taking delivery and hoping it lives up to the marketing promises on the web site. The pieces online look great and seem to be offered at a not-unreasonable price. Thanks for asking for my opinion. : )
