I found the company online. I had never heard of the company.... I see it is based out of Canada...and honestly it made me nervous to purchase from them. This purchase was for my daughter and she wanted a particular blue velvet that we could not find at any of the US furniture stores so she pushed me to order from Rove. We went on the site and as I pushed the back button to leave the site and a popup coupon for 20% appeared. There was no coupon/sale stated on the actual website so this was a big plus. I screen printed the coupon which had no expiration date so I would have the code and promptly ordered the blue swatch so we could be sure it was the "right" blue my daughter wanted. The swatch arrived very quickly and we liked it. At the time of the order it was a Cyber Monday sale for 15% but I was going to use "my Popup code" since it was higher. The system stated that my code had either expired or it was invalid. Not Happy. I contacted customer service by email and initially only got an email to open an account with a link. I responded that opening an account was not my issue. While waiting for a response again I decided to use the CHAT function and got Emily. Emily told me that my coupon was for Black Friday. I told her that when I got the coupon on November 14th it was not even black friday yet and there was no sale I could see on the site. It looked to me that I got a coupon while trying to leave the site and not placing an order. She was firm and told me that there was nothing she could do as the coupon was no longer good. I told her since the website strongly recommends that you get a swatch....it's a bit difficult to order it and get it and meet a sale deadline. She wasn't interested and told me there was nothing she could do. After the chat I found an email that had come in from Janice in customer service and she had set up a quote on my new account with the 20%----totally understood waiting for the swatch to order and said no problem on the 20%. That is what I was looking for!!! Janice saved the sale. There is apprehension on ordering from Canada......and then if you have a bad customer service issue over a coupon code....what will it be like if you have a problem with the order once it is delivered. I look forward to getting my furniture and will review on the actual product.
