The Rove team has been very responsive and helpful. Rove, on its own, deserves 5 stars. I only gave 4 because their shipping partners are dreadful.
Both shipping companies (that I worked with) infrequently updated their online tracking. So I had to call them and ask, and then call Rove when I wouldn't hear an answer. One of my items sat in a warehouse for 1.5 weeks. I called the warehouse every day, and when someone finally picked up, they said, "Oh, yeah, it's broken so a replacement has to be sent out." I mean, shouldn't the shipping co taken care of that on its own a week ago?
Other items sat too, but for much shorter durations because I learned my lesson the first time & asked Rove to nag them. It still took 4-5 days for someone to arrange a delivery.
Again, Rove is great. No hesitations there. But if you're in a hurry to receive your items, like I was, you better have them on speed dial so that they can keep tabs & push the shippers on your behalf.

Shipping cost.
I will give a thumb up when it comes to the design of the products. Unfortunately I don't think it is worth buying an small item at Rove just because of their shipping policy. They charge $89 flat rate no matter what you buy (and how much you spend). I personally find this discouraging unless your intention is to purchase an item priced above $500.

My second purchase from Rove and the service, and furniture was just as fantastic as the last time. I'm investing in this furniture - for the price they're not throwaway, Ikea stuff - but they're built well, look great and the service has been exemplary.
Excellent across the board
I had a few questions before committing to spend what, for me at least, was a significant sum of money on a sofa I'd only seen a (different) version of in the showroom. The help desk was fast, informative and incredibly pleasant. I also had some fairly awkward delivery requests and they were all handled without issues. The sofa itself is wonderful - solid construction, comfortable, visually appealing and will be a mainstay in my home for years. Would happily highly recommend rove.

Rove has beautiful, if expensive items and their website works very well. As long as you can afford to buy the things your expensive taste suggest, you'll love it here.
