Emeco
Emeco
Emeco began in 1944 with founder Wilton Carlyle Dinges. It rose to prominence when the US government contracted the company to design a chair that was durable, strong and resistant to the elements. The solution was the 1006 Chair, also known as the Navy Chair. Extremely practical and made with the expectations of long lasting performance, the product was quite successful. Emeco has since expanded their product line but they have never forgotten their 1006 beginnings.
